Summer Development

Development Summer Program

Developing athletes will train on the water, in the gym, and through a variety of cross-training activities to be in peak physical condition.

Athletes will learn skills to gain speed on the water, strength, technique, and endurance.

The Development Program runs for 4 months (June to September) for athletes age U12 and up.

June and September will be held Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

July 2nd until August 23rd the program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Due to our National Competition there is no U10 program the last week of August (August 26-30).

This program includes mandatory regatta participation throughout the summer.

Parents can drop off their athletes between 7:30-8:30am and pick-up between 4:30-5:30pm.

Although many athletes have their own equipment, Sackawa provides boats and paddles, except for life jackets, which are required with the new ADCKC policy.
